Finesse Re-Opening: What You Should Know

Fam, how are we living? How are doing? How are thriving and surviving? As we deal with these unprecedented times, we have realized just how important community is, and we value our Finesse Family more than we ever have. Even during this time of hardship, we have had such a great time dancing, moving, and creating with all of you (thank goodness for technological advances and strong wifi)!

When we haven’t been teaching and hanging out with all of you on Zoom, we have been closely monitoring news, health reports, and speaking with our fellow studio owners and health professionals to gather information to create a comprehensive reopening plan that best suits our staff and clients. 

Here is everything you need to know about our Phase 1 reopening:


The Dates:

  • We plan to physically open our doors with a limited schedule on Monday, June 1st

  • Once we see a steady decline of cases for at least two weeks, we will then make plans to resume a normal class schedule (Phase II of our reopening plan). We don’t expect to resume a normal schedule until possibly July or August. We will have more clarity as we get closer to those dates, and we’ll absolutely keep you in the loop!

Class Details: 

  • Because the governor’s office has requested that gyms and fitness centers halt the provision of group classes in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we will only be offering private and semi private sessions during the month of June. 

  • Private classes will be offered at $40 for 60 minutes. Private classes consist of one student and the instructor. 

  • Semi-private classes will be offered at $30 for 60 minutes. Semi-privates will consist of two students and the instructor. 

  • Intro to Pole, Pole Level classes (Pole Levels 1-3), and Twerk + Tone are the only classes that will be offered as private and semi-private during this time. 

  • All other classes (like Inversions, Flex Finesse, Sensual Heeling, and other specialty classes) will remain as live online offerings via Zoom until we are able to fully re-open. 

Booking & Paying:

  • Class registration will be closed 4 hours before the scheduled time. Please make sure to register early if you plan to attend.

  • Semi-private sessions MUST have two students registered in order to run. Please coordinate with a friend to make sure this happens. If we do not have two students booked, we will reach out to you to reschedule, or to turn that time slot into a private class with the appropriate rate. 

  • Private sessions will be offered a-la-carte only. 

  • If you are an existing member of our studio, you can use your membership to book semi-private sessions. 

  • If you are not a member, but still wish to book semi-private sessions at a more cost effective rate, you can purchase a semi-private bundle of 5 classes for $100

Sanitation & Health:

  • We will continue cleaning the studio thoroughly before and after classes to ensure a clean, pleasant, sanitary environment. 

  • We ask that if you are sick or have any symptoms that are indicative of potentially having COVID-19, please DO NOT register for class. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, body aches/muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell. 

  • Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled class time to place your personal items in the cubbies, and thoroughly wash your hands for 20 seconds before your class. A handy sign with our favorite TLC song will be placed in the bathroom for you to follow along to :) Once class is over, please wash your hands again. 

  • As usual, students will be given small towels to wipe down their poles during class. We ask that once given a towel, you continue to use the same exact towel throughout the duration of your session, and place it in the hamper at the end. 

Because information surrounding this current crisis is constantly changing, please be aware that all of the information listed above is subject to change, but we will do our part to keep you in-the-know.
