STUDIO POLICIES

We know, we know… policies are boring to read through. BUT if you have a question about any of our classes or the studio in general, you just might find the answer below, which will save you an email or text :) Please familiarize yourself with our policies and to help us keep our space running as smoothly as possible. Should you have any questions about any of our studio policies, please contact us by call or text at 706.223.0369 or email finessepolefitness@gmail.com.

General Studio Policies

  1. NO CHILDREN under the age of 18 allowed in the studio.

  2. No food allowed in classrooms during regularly scheduled class times. Beverages must be in containers with lids or caps that prevent liquids from spilling.

  3. We DO NOT offer refunds except in cases of class/event cancellations due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or immediate emergencies.

  4. Please wear proper attire when visiting our studio. This includes: athletic wear such as opaque fitted shorts, sports bras and/or tank tops, or opaque leggings (for dance and flexibility classes, or private parties). No undergarments are allowed to be used in place of workout attire.

  5. Outside spectators are NOT allowed. All individuals present for class, parties, or special events must be paying, participating customers.

  6. Deals mistakenly purchased AFTER the ADVERTISED end date will not be honored.

  7. Outside instructors (at other local studios, independently from home or a co-op space, or virtually) of modalities that are offered at Finesse Pole Fitness will not be allowed to enroll into regular series or drop-in classes. We do, however, welcome outside instructors to book private lessons should they wish to continue advancing their own practice.

    COVID-19/SANITATION GUIDELINES:

  8. We ask that students remove their shoes and place their belongings in the cubbies upon entering the space.

  9. Students should wash their hands thoroughly before and after each class.

  10. If students feel ill or exhibit any signs or symptoms of illness (including, but not limited to, fever, coughing, sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, headache, fatigue, upset stomach, etc), they should NOT attend class or enter the studio space.

  11. Students are encouraged to bring their own equipment, such as yoga mats, stretching bands, myofascial release tools, or yoga blocks to any classes where this equipment is commonly used.

  12. During pole classes, students will be assigned a rag to use throughout the duration of class to prevent any cross-contamination. At the end of use, rags are to be placed in the appropriate basket to be picked up by the instructor for washing.

Class & Private Lesson Policies

  1. Students MUST reserve and pay for their classes online. We do not accept last-minute walk-ins.

  2. Any class with less than two registered participants an hour before the scheduled class time is subject to cancellation. If the class is a drop-in class, your instructor will notify you of cancellation and will offer to reschedule you into another class. If the class is one of the first three sessions as part of a series, your instructor will notify you cancellation and will offer a make-up day where possible. If the class is the last session as part of a series (review/in class performance day), no refunds of make-ups will be offered.

  3. Arrive to the studio dressed and ready to start your class at the scheduled time. We suggest that you arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins. Please respect instructors and other students by showing up on time.

  4. If you are more than 10 MINUTES LATE to any class you will NOT be permitted to take the class and will lose your money for that class. NO EXCEPTIONS! This is a safety issue, as all students must be present for the warm-up. Please be considerate of your fellow students because when you are late you take away from their instruction.

  5. We ask that you not wear lotion before class to avoid slipping on the poles. Avoid wearing rings and watches that will scratch the finish of the poles, and avoid wearing large earrings.

  6. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a private lesson; otherwise, you will lose your payment for the service.

  7. CANCELLATION POLICY:

    • Drop-Ins:

      1. If you late cancel after the registration window (8 hours before class), you are not eligible for a refund or a class credit.

      2. If you no-show, you are not eligible for a refund or class credit and will be charged a $10 no show fee.

    • Series:

      1. If you late cancel (less than 8 hours before the start of class) or no-show any of your sessions, you will be charged a $10 cancel/no show fee.

      2. We are not currently offering make-up sessions as these series are only 4 weeks long. If you miss a session, you can still learn what was missed as all of the lessons are progressive and build upon the previous week.

      3. If you miss more than one session in the 4 week time frame, you will not be eligible to graduate and move on to a more progressive series.

    • Privates and Studio Rentals: If you late cancel (less than 8 hours before the start of your session) or no-show your private lesson or studio rental, you are not eligible for a refund or class credits, and you will be charged a $10 no show fee.

    • Membership Holders:

      1. All of the above applies.

      2. If you no-show more than 4 times in 30 days, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE CANCELLED. You can still attend classes by paying the a la carte drop-in rate and series pricing, but you will lose all privileges associated with having a membership.

Party Policies

  1. Parties are 60 minutes for a minimum of 4 people or a maximum of 5 people (pole)/6 people (floorwork, sensual choreo, chair)/8 people (twerk). Pricing is $195 (which breaks down to $32.50 - $48.75 per person). Your price includes instruction, time to take photos and video, and use of our party items mentioned in policy #2.

  2. Beverages are welcome. NO FOOD ALLOWED. We do not provide paper goods (cups, napkins, etc), but we do provide use of table, money gun, and hypoallergenic feather boas.

  3. A non-refundable deposit of $50 will need to be paid at the time of booking in order to secure your party date. The remaining balance will be due 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled party time. You also have the option to pay for the party in full at the time of booking. (Parties booked less than 7 days out from the scheduled party time will be billed in full).

  4. If you are more than 15 minutes late, doors may be locked, and your party may be cancelled. You will NOT receive a refund for being late. No shows will NOT receive a refund. Should an extenuating circumstance arise, please contact the studio at 706.223.0369.

  5. If you need to cancel or reschedule your party, we ask that you do so at least 7 days in advance. Anything cancelled or rescheduled after this time will be treated as a new party, and will require a new deposit.

Membership Policies

  1. All memberships require a 6-month minimum agreement. Memberships cannot be cancelled or paused within the first month of activation. You will be contacted during the fifth month to remind you to renew or cancel.

  2. Please note that ALL memberships require a 30 day written notice to discontinue, even if the 6 month minimum agreement has been met. Memberships will renew automatically each month until a written notice has been provided.

  3. MILITARY MEMBERS/SPOUSES- Should your memberships need to be terminated before your 6 month commitment is met, please provide Finesse Pole Fitness with a copy of your relocation or deployment orders. Contracts cancelled for these reasons will not incur cancellation fees.

  4. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  5. If you no-show your classes more than 4 times in 30 days, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE CANCELLED. You can still attend classes by paying the a la carte drop-in rate and series pricing, but you will lose all privileges associated with having a membership.

  6. Members who default on payment will have their memberships automatically deactivated, and not be able to register for classes. Please make sure your payment information is up to date to avoid any issues!

  7. Members who are not in good standing with the studio will no longer be eligible to purchase a membership in the future.
