So, A Celebration and a Pandemic Walk Into a Bar...
Our studio is celebrating ONE WHOLE year of being business!

One year of dope classes and instructors.
One year of discovery, new heights, and fulfillment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One year of fierce, feminine, movement.
To our loyal students, supporters, and friends-- we truly can't thank all of you enough for giving us an opportunity to do what we love, sharing it with all of you, and helping us make it this far. You are the heartbeat of our space and without you, we could not thrive. We are thrilled to see where this next year takes us! Onward to Year 2!⠀
We never quite imagined that we would be celebrating an anniversary in the midst of a global pandemic that has caused feelings of fear and uncertainty amongst many in our community. But we want to let you know that we will do everything we can to assuage those fears and continue as normal. We encourage everyone to be prepared, and remain calm.
Finesse will continue to operate during this time, unless directed and advised otherwise, and we will CONTINUE to do the things we have ALWAYS done since opening our doors last year:
Offering small classes ranging from a MAX of 4-8 people. Our pole classes are usually a max of 4 or 5, flex is a max of 6, and our dance and movement classes are a max of 8. Our events are also a max of 8.
Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and infection prevention. Y’all already know our black and brown mamas would disown us if we didn’t stay stocked on Lysol, Clorox, and Fabuloso 🤣. You can rest assured that these floors will stay clean, that bathroom will stay sparkling, those poles will be pristine, and all equipment will stay sanitary.
Encouraging everyone to WASH THEIR HANDS before and after classes, especially if you're a little heavy-handed when using pole grip 😉 We recommend the following directive at the end of this post if you need a little encouragement.
Being the bright, happy, shining faces you need during not-so-great times to keep you motivated and encouraged. Sometimes we just need a brief escape from all of the talk and negative feelings that are permeating our social spaces.
Providing a space for you to get away from your kids and spouse when they drive you nuts during the quarantine 😜😜😜
We will, however, be suspending party bookings through April 6, 2020.
If you’re sick, we ask that you stay at home and focus on getting well! We will love you from afar and be here when you return!
We want to encourage all of you to support local businesses now more than ever! The effects of COVID-19 will hit our fellow small business owners the hardest, so please do what you can to help them during this time. Small things like ordering take out from your favorite restaurant, keeping your subscriptions/memberships, or buying gift cards can go a LONG way! We depend on your dollars and support to continue thriving!
